My own blog?

Seems like everywhere I look on the web, I see the word "blog" or people are saying, "do you blog?" So finally I am making my own BLOG! Who came up with that word, anyway? I guess this is like an online diary that people will read? Or maybe nobody will read it? Well anyway... here I go!
