repost: Fabric Fireworks

homemade crafts

I was pleasantly surprised to see my fabric fireworks on Tip Junkie recently (see HERE).
I thought I'd re-post it, since 4th of July is almost here.

I used this tutorial to make the pom-pom pens also.

I made a little red/white/blue sun dress for Ruby to wear for the holiday. Of course we needed something for her hair so I came up with these.

If I were more on top of things, I would have made a bunch of these for my etsy shop.

But instead I'll show you how you can make your own.

Run to your scrap bin and get started ... they are so easy!
It's late and I should be packing for our weekend trip, so I have to make this as quick as possible.

Ok ... hope you liked it. I wasted utilized a good hour of packing/crafting/sleeping time for this! :)

Happy 4th of July!
Are you gonna make some fabric fireworks to wear to the parade/BBQ/fireworks?!

I made some using ribbon and not cutting the edges. They were cute that way, too. Thanks for the inspiration.
